Excavation of Duat is a temple escape platformer game. This was a 6 week project with 5 people on the team. This game was made in Unity. I was a level designer for the team. This included creating the traps that the player interacts which not only included designing them but also coding them. This was a recreation of Pac-Man. This was a done in a gorup. The work that I did for the project was a lot of coding. I coded all of the AI for the ghosts this includes each of their chasing and scattering patterns. I bulit a 2D Array that determines where they can and can not go. I coded the grid movement for Pac-Man also. For the additonal ghost that was added i also coded its chase, it does not scatter. We also created a second player. This is a player controled ghost has simlar fuctionality to a ghost but with additional mechanics. These mechnaics include the ability to steal Pac-Man's points, the ability to be turned into a scared ghost so that Pac-Man can eat you, the ability to ingnore the chase and scatter mechcanics so that you can follow Pac-Man around the map. The work that my partner Pagie foucsed on was on some coding and mostly the art of the game.
The Borderline Effect is a puzzle platformer. This was a 6-week project with 7 team members. The game was made in Unity. I was a level designer on this project. I created 2 of the rooms the player solves puzzles in. After wandering into a mysterious building, you find yourself in the now-defunct Arward Institute of Science. Founded on the eve of the twenty-second century, Arward was established to research cutting edge dimensional technology. To escape the building, you must act as a test subject and complete the various trials left by Arward researchers. Explore the institute and solve puzzles in this first-person puzzle platformer.
